2026 DAN JEWELL WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSTITUTE
The Foundation was pleased to host the 2026 Dan Jewell Workers' Compensation Institute this year in Lincoln, Nebraska. On June 19, attorneys from around Nebraska made up teams of two representing a plaintiff or defendant in a case they worked hard on preparing with attorney trial mentors ahead of the training. As a result, the trials took place in three separate courtrooms at the Workers' Compensation Court in Lincoln before Judges who volunteered their time. We want to thank the Judges, attorney mentors and attorneys who served as witnesses for giving their valuable time and expertise. Additionally, we want to thank the Steering Committee for putting together this year's case. Attorneys who participated in the training this year had the opportunity to learn valuable trial skills in the area of Workers' Compensation. They also had the benefit of being presented with useful feedback from the attorney faculty and Judges.
