Reaching the Age of Majority Booklet

The Reaching the Age of Majority booklet is designed to educate youth about the rights and responsibilities of adulthood. Legal professionals volunteered their time to research and write the material. Topics include alcohol, contracts, crime victims, health and human services, insurance, internet safety, landlord-tenant law, parties, sex crimes, tax responsibilities and weapons, guns and fireworks.

The resource is being updated, but remaining printed copies are still available to high schools, post-secondary education institutions, law enforcement agencies, health professionals, members of the judiciary, libraries and other interested organizations. For copies of Reaching the Age of Majority, email Maggie at maggie [at] or call 402-475-1042.

For the 2019 school year, going forward, the booklet will only be available online.
