Five schools competed in "We the People" on Thursday, December 16th with Lincoln East High School taking top awards.
The Bar Foundation sponsors the Nebraska State We the People High School Finals annually. The Bar Foundation sponsors the Nebraska State We the People High School Finals annually.
The winner represents Nebraska at the National We the People Finals. More than 1,200 high school students and their teachers participate annually in the National Finals.
The Lincoln East High School team is led by teacher, Mr. Kevin Rippe.
